Driving for a team co-owned by his father, 1986 Indy 500 winner Bobby Rahal, late-night talk show icon David Letterman and businessman Mike Lanigan, Graham Rahal is a seasoned NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver. But he also takes a great deal of pride in his philanthropic efforts away from the track. Alongside his wife, former NHRA drag racing star Courtney Force, Rahal started the Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation, which is dedicated to helping veterans and finding a cure for cancer. He formed the organization in 2009 to carry on the philanthropic efforts of his former team owner, the late actor Paul Newman. Rahal has donated more than $2 million to causes close to the family’s hearts. Looking to the 2023 season, Rahal says that he is “sick and tired of not winning” and wants to “kick these guys’ butts every weekend.”
